The Mount Rinjani 2 Days / 1 Night Summit Trek is an elite expedition designed for experienced and physically fit trekkers determined to reach the "Roof of Lombok" in record time. This fast-paced adventure offers the ultimate reward: standing at 3,726m to witness a breathtaking sunrise over Mount Tambora and the panoramic volcanic landscape.
Starting from the vast savannas of Sembalun, you will push through challenging inclines to reach the Crater Rim for a night under the stars, followed by a grueling midnight summit push. This is the shortest, most intense, and truly rewarding Rinjani experience.

Distance: 9 km | Walk Duration: 6–7 hours
The Journey: Begin your trek at the National Park office (1,100m). The first half is a steady walk across the golden Sembalun Savanna.
The Challenge: After lunch at Pos 2, the gradient increases significantly. The final 2 hours to the Rim involve steep, loose soil—often called the "Hills of Regret."
Reward: Arrival at Sembalun Crater Rim just in time for a magnificent sunset over Segara Anak Lake.
The Summit (2:00 AM): A 3-hour midnight climb. The final section is the hardest; volcanic ash makes every step a struggle. Reach the 3,726m peak for a 360-degree sunrise.
The Return: Descend back to the Crater Rim for a well-deserved breakfast.
Finish: A 5-hour descent back to Sembalun Village. Our driver will be waiting to take you to your next destination.
